TASTING ROOM

Q: Does Big Dog Vineyards Allow Outside Food or Drinks?

A: Big Dog Vineyards does not allow any outside food or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) on our property during our Tasting Hours or Public Events.


Q: Does Big Dog Vineyards Have Food Options On-Site?

A: We do offer a limited selection of snacks available for purchase to go along with your tastings! Among those, we have Premium Persian Pistachios, Assorted Chocolate Truffles and small or a large Cheese & Charcuterie Board. (All food items are subject to availability. It is recommended to add your selected snack choices to your reservation prior to arriving!)


Q: Does Big Dog Vineyards Comp Any Tastings?

A: We do comp one tasting fee for every two-bottles of wine purchased on-site! Additionally, guest who sign-up to one of our Wine Clubs on-site may receive various of their tasting fees comped, depending on the club which they sign-up to.


Q: Are Reservations Required to Visit the Tasting Room?

A: Reservations are encouraged for all guest who wish to visit the Tasting Room. Typically, we will have additional space for walk-ins day of, but to ensure you have a table we do recommend you make a reservation online through our Reservation Portal!


Q: Does Big Dog Vineyards Offer Different Tasting Flights?

A: We do offer different tasting flights during our Tasting Hours. We have a Mix flight which includes two white wines and two red wines for $18/person, a White Wine flight which includes four different white wines for $20/person and an All Reds flight which includes four red wines for $25/per person.


Q: Is There A Charge To Come Listen to the Live Music?

A: There is no additional charge for the performances during our Weekly Tasting Hours. It’s free for anyone purchasing a tasting flight or wine by the glass or bottle. There are additional charges though for special performances, including those held during our Summer Concerts or our Pickup Party Events. Wine Club members receive special discounts off these events, so to ensure you get the best deal, check out our various Wine Clubs!


Q: Do We Have To Purchase Tasting Flights to Visit or Can We Buy Wine By the Glass or By the Bottle?

A: Tastings are not required to visit during our Weekly Tasting Hours, wine may be purchased by the wine or by the bottle, instead of a tasting or after a tasting. Due to state law though, they may not be combined with each other.


Q: Are Children Allowed in the Tasting Room?

A: Our Tasting Room is 21+ over only, with the exception of babies, so no children are allowed during our tasting hours. Children are welcome during private events, or during our monthly Family Picnics, so be sure to check our calendar for the next one!


WINE CLUB

Q: How Much Does it Cost To Join the Wine Club?

A: There are no additional charges to join any of our three Wine Clubs. The price varies and consists of the price of the wine shipment at the discount allocated to the club you join (i.e. Great Dane members pay four times a year for their four-bottle shipment at the 20% discount rate).


Q: Do I Select The Bottles That I Receive In My Shipment?

A: A selection of bottles is picked out for each club during each shipment but anyone of them may be swapped out by any wine of your choice (additional charges may apply for swapping out wines). At the time of sign-up you may also select your preference of wines (i.e. all reds or all whites).


Q: Is There Any Cancellation Fees?

A: There are no cancellation fees attached to our Wine Clubs. All Clubs with the exception of the Boxer Club have no commitment and may be cancelled at any time. Boxer Club members must have at least three shipments before they can cancel. Early cancellation will result in billing for any committed shipments still due. If you desire to cancel your membership you should notify Big Dog Vineyards at least two (2) weeks prior to the next shipment or it will result in billing for the next shipment.


Q: How Do My Free Tastings Work?

A: Members of the Boxer and Corgi clubs receive two (2) complimentary tastings per month which may be redeemed at any time during the month during our Tasting Hours. Great Dane Members receive four (4) complimentary tastings on each visit. Tastings may not be exchanged for glass pours, or additional discounts off bottles. In addition, they are not available for use during Public Events including our Sunset Fridays, Summer Concerts, or Pickup Parties.


Q: Can I Share My Club Member Benefits With Others?

A: You are welcome to share your discounts and free tastings with others so long as the person who’s name is under the account is present. Joint accounts are available and must be specified at the time of signing up, with no more than two people per account.


PRIVATE EVENTS

Q: How Do I Book a Private Event?

A: To book a private event at our venue, be sure to fill out our Private Event Request Form and a member of our Event Staff will get back to you with more information regarding the breakdown of booking your event with us!


Q: What is the Cost of Booking a Private Event At Your Venue?

A: The price for booking an event at our venue various depending on many different factors. To receive an accurate estimate, please fill out our Private Event Request Form!


Q: Is Outside Food or Catering Allowed During Private Events?

A: Yes, outside food and/or catering services are welcome during private events.


Q: Do You Offer Any Food or Catering During Private Events?

A: We do not offer any food on site but you are more than welcome to bring your own or hire out your preferred caterer for your event!


Q: Can I Bring My Own Drinks During a Private Event?

A: We do not allow any outside alcoholic beverages at any point during your event on our property. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed though!
