August 6th and 7th

from 12 - 5 pm.  

Summer is here!  The warm sun is offset by refreshing afternoon bay breezes. The vines are green and lush.  Most importantly, excellent wines are being poured at Big Dog Vineyards.

Come join us this weekend.  On Saturday, Mogo BBQ will be here with their culinary Asian-fusion-bbq dishes that were voted the best in the bay area.  Try it! Or bring a picnic to enjoy on the patio.

Its time to taste the 2007 wines again now that they've matured in the bottle.  The 2007 Estate Cab Franc is wonderful with cherry and chocolate on the aroma and taste.  The 2007 Zinfandel is inspirational with its balance of fruit and spice without being overly assertive.

Mark will be giving a vineyard tour and talk at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Its a chance to learn about the challenge and complexity of growing top quality wine grapes. (hiking shoes recommended)

 Some tickets are still available for the upcoming concert on Aug 20th with Findng Stella.  You can purchase them in person at the winery this weekend.
