Winery News
New Releases Now on Sale

It's finally time.

 

Patience has paid off and the 2010 Dry Creek Syrah is finally ready to be released on March 2nd.  It's available at the winey tasting events in January and February

for pre-release tastings and we are selling discounted "Futrures" ahead of its release.  Reserve yours now before March 2nd as pre-release prices not to be repeated.

 

Come by and bathe your senses in a heavy dose of dark berries plum and spice.  And did I detect a bit of mocha in there with a finish reminscent of strong black tea.

Such richness and complexity compliments spicy Mexican food or perhaps some Indian cuisine.  Of course, I find it delicious on its own with a occasional plain cracker and just a bit of mancheca cheese.

 

The 2011 Mount Eden Chardonnay is in the final winemaking steps after being barrel aged for nearly a year.  Like the previous year this is a unique Chardonnay that features tropical fruit flavors, asian pear, and a hint of pinapple together with a buttery finish and just the right amount of toasted oak.  Bottling is schedule of late October and we will be tasting this wine from the barrel justs before it's bottled and taking orders for futures (at substantial discounts) at the tasting event on October 6th and October 7th.

Also newly released is the 2007 Zinfandel Port Wine. Innocent and sweet this wine is the perfect dessert with chocolate or cheese, or all by itself.  

 

Once again, just 50 cases were produced so if you like sweet Port wines, don't wait to try this  interesting Zin Port from grapes grown in Paso Robles.

The long awaited "Cab's Cab" which is our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from 2009  commorative edition in honor of "Cab", the most loved St. Bernard around these parts is now available to all..  This is a big and bold Cabernet loaded with fruit and silky mouth feel yet soft on the tanins, friendly and with justs a hint of licorice on the finish.  It has been a favorite of wine lovers who enjoy full bodied wines

 

The 2008 Estate Red wines are now bottled and due for release later this fall.  The 2008 was a spetacular year but also one

that produced a very small yield and harvest.  As a result, we just have a few cases (20-30) of each of these reserve wines

that are not to be missed including the:
